The neglect community with about 2000 children, women and young people. It is located within 20Kilmetres from city of Duste LGA. Almost half of these people depend on farming and rearing animals. No effort of road construction which they will have access to transport their farm produces. YAPD interview the head of Hara community mallam Salisu Idris said "we are just worried about the future of our children without any form of educational institution and we requested for healthcare centre because when our wives are pregnant, we need to drive out from this 20kilometres to the city hospital. So you see the absence of healthcare centre might led someone wife to die". The absence of basic necessity is a challenge to lives of the community. Mallam Mutari Sani told YAPD that " our children trek to Jiba Town primary school which is about 7Kilometres from here. He added saying most of us does not go to school, we have only 10 graduate from secondary school during our time. Even when our community voluntarily donated a pieces of land for construction of school, no school has been built in our town said by mallam Mutari". In addition the community youth said that "they would not support any politician who does not fulfilled his promise toward them and their society". Mallam Salisu Idris said "the only government facility in their community is a solar bolehold which was a Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) project as a result of outbreak of disease suspected to be cholera but that's not enough more assistance of basic necessity is needed. One among our representative Hon. Tijjani Gaya who promised to build a school for us but unfortunately he only provided graveyard without the construction of school". Alh. Lawal Hara an elder of hara community told YAPD that "they have followup several time for the building of school but Abubakar Dahiru the secretary of Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Basic (SUBEB) said the community should renew its request for a school to be considered. We don't ask for any electricity because it's not important for us, what is important we need is a school, so that our children will have a better future like other community children said by the whole community. Mallam Mutari sani took us to a building of two islamiyya class constructed by Hon. Musa Sule Duste, which can only contain about 50 pupils. We also meet with Mallam Musa another residence of Hara community, who have been volunteer himself to fight against illiteracy in hara community. As usually there are many community facing challenges but it's time we need to end the silence and improve access to basic amenities in rural community like Hara Town said YAPD Chief Executive Officer.
