This contest has been created to give an opportunity for people of all ages all over the world to express their desire, ideas, plans and purposes for Peace. Participants are invited to submit videos that highlight best practices and achievements of grassroots peace activists (Note: This may include environmental peacebuilding).
Global Peace Building Network (GPBNet) works with all people, politicians, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, businesses, local schools, institutions, universities, students and area families to identify people who will participate in and who will benefit from this great program. GPBNet is committed to educating the next generation of peace builders about our global role in preventing and resolving conflicts around the world, and about the important part that each person can play as engaged global citizens.
This Video contest is organized in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world's peacemakers of every age to promote a culture of peace and sustainable development. It also aims to inspire society to learn from the thoughts of the participants AND to help us think about how every human being can join and build world of lasting peace by 2027.
When making your videos, think about 7 Video Contest areas: By 2027
- What could Leaders and society do for Peace
- What could Business, IT, Agriculture, Ocean Based, Inventor, Aero and Cosmos Organizations do for Peace
- What could the Media, Culture and Arts do for Peace
- What could Schools, Universities, Education and Academia do for Peace
- What could Youth, Volunteer, Ecology, Sport, Hobby, Wellness, Travel and Global Village Organizations do for Peace
- What could Social Service, Charity, Child Assistant, Health and Family Organizations do for Peace
- What could Interfaith, Spirituality, Futurology organizations do for Peace
-Disarmament and Peace, God and Peace, Second Coming and Peace, ending poverty, addressing climate change, forging equality and ensuring access to education and all other areas and ideas #ForPeace are acceptable.
Guidelines:
1. Age of participant(s): 1-129 years old
2. Length of video: Maximum 10 minutes long in English
3. Videos must be, with your name, country, a photo of entry author and Video title included.
4. Resolution of video: Minimal 1280 x 720 pixels
5. Videos must be submitted to irffmd@gmail.com
6. Multiple entries will be accepted from each participant
4. Videos must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.
5. Co-authored Videos are acceptable.
6. Copyright of the Videos entered will be assigned to the organizer.
Entries could be send daily by 23:59 your local time and Contest Deadline is 18th September, 2021, 23.59.
Awards
The following awards will be given to the winners:
1st Prize: Certificate, prize of 10 books (worth 400$) – 1 entrant
2nd Prize: Certificate, prize of 5 books (worth 210$) – 4 entrants
3rd Prize: Certificate, prize of 3 books (worth 100$) – 8 entrants
