EXCLUSIVE: President Lee's epic mercy Will liberate the Mother of Peace to end all suffering, and ignite global hearts to unite in a true love revolution?

 For Immediate Global Release

November 29, 2025 | Seoul, Republic of Korea

To Her Holiness, Holy Mother Han; His Excellency President Lee Jae-myung; the Honorable Citizens of the Republic of Korea; and All 8 Billion+ Beloved Members of Our Global Human Family:

In this triumphant moment of humanity's collective awakening—where the chains of misunderstanding dissolve in the radiant glow of truth, elder wisdom ignites unbreakable solidarity, and the call for universal brotherhood echoes across every border—President Lee Jae-myung, the resilient people of Korea, and every awakened soul worldwide extend our profoundest apologies for the injustices endured by Holy Mother Han. Guided by timeless divine insight—"Seek truth with an open heart, and love will pave the path to redemption"—we acknowledge our shared errors, commit to swift restoration, and embrace a transformative era of harmony, justice, and boundless prosperity for all.

Holy Mother Han, globally celebrated as the "Mother of Peace" and co-founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), has withstood over 67 harrowing days in pretrial detention since her arrest on September 22, 2025. Confined to a stark 70-square-foot cell at Seoul Detention Center on unsubstantiated charges of bribery, embezzlement, and illegal political donations, this 82-year-old devoted great-grandmother—recovering from recent heart surgery while battling atrial fibrillation, glaucoma, diabetes, and chronic pain—has shown alarming signs of decline: deep dark circles under her eyes, parched and cracked skin, a flushed red face, bluish lips signaling oxygen shortages, labored breathing, and over 10 pounds of weight loss. Relying solely on painkillers through sleepless nights, exacerbated by a mandatory prison vaccination that weakened her already fragile immune system, she was granted a brief three-day medical release on November 4, 2025, for urgent glaucoma surgery at Hallym University Hospital. Tragically, the Seoul Central District Court denied an extension on November 7, forcing her return to custody despite medical experts' dire warnings of risks including infections, potential blindness, or cardiac arrest. Labeled "religiocide" by international human rights advocates, this ordeal blatantly defies South Korea's constitutional protections and global human rights standards, tarnishing a beacon of innovation with the shadow of oppression.

Recent revelations dismantle the prosecution's fragile claims. During the November 21, 2025, pretrial hearing, pivotal witness Yoon Young-ho declined to testify, prompting the judge to question the applicability of political funding laws to religious entities under Korean statutes, with accusations of extravagant gifts lacking verifiable evidence or sources. The accelerated trial date of December 1 adds undue strain on an elderly defendant in precarious health, heightening concerns of procedural violations. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's November 2025 statement underscores America's resolve to protect persecuted faiths in nations like Nigeria, China, and South Korea: "Faith faces siege worldwide—silence is no longer viable." Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich's November 2025 op-ed, featured in prominent Korean outlets such as Chosun Ilbo, Kyunghyang Shinmun, and Hankook Ilbo, denounces the detention as a betrayal of democratic ideals and religious liberty: "In free societies, spiritual guides aren't imprisoned for their holy missions... This signals peril to U.S. leaders." He calls for her immediate release to preserve shared U.S.-Korea principles of freedom.

As the Only Begotten Daughter—mirroring Jesus Christ as the Only Begotten Son—Holy Mother Han stands as humanity's exclusive gateway to immediate salvation through God's Divine Principles and The Epic History of the Chosen Han People of Korea. These profound teachings echo Jesus' blueprint for a brotherhood democracy, which inspired the U.S. Constitution and shaped democratic systems in nearly every nation, fostering a global tapestry of equality, unity, and tranquility. In her landmark proclamation at the April 13, 2025, Cheon Won Gung Cheonil Sanctum Dedication Ceremony, she affirmed: "Heavenly Parent, Creator and Sovereign of the cosmos, today culminates Your 6,000-year journey of endurance after the Fall. We extend infinite thanks and sincere repentance. You now reign supreme over this domain. Our second, third, and fourth generations—the Pure Water successors of blessed lineages born via True Parents—advance to broaden Your earthly dominion. From this moment, Heavenly Parent, envelop Your children in endless love! This world will converge under Your rule, forging one human family in true devotion. In Holy Mother Han's name, I declare the gates of Paradise, the portals to God's Cheon Il Guk kingdom, flung wide open."

This echoes her April 15, 2025, declaration: "I shall unify all; we progress with essential truth and genuine hearts." Aligning with the 2025 USCIRF report highlighting religious freedoms affecting 5.4 billion people, her principles mend divisions in conflict zones like Ukraine, the Middle East, and Asia. Proclamations such as "The Root of Peace Lies in God" (May 2023) advocate for sacred rights, while her 2005-2007 Peace Directives build interfaith bridges, resonating with 2025 anti-persecution alliances. Her 2019 New Year Blessing: "Authentic Korean unification demands revering God," emphasizes spiritual ties for national renewal, and her 2020 guidance: "Religious liberty transcends one creed. It enables all to chase the Divine and dwell in accord," highlights multifaith collaboration as essential for worldwide stability.

Entering the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk—the Heavenly Kingdom established in 2013—Holy Mother Han invites everyone, from everyday individuals to world leaders, into the Ultimate Peace Kingdom, launching a New Ultimate Era of Peace and Harmony that realizes biblical prophecies: erasing tears from every eye (Revelation 21:4) and transforming "swords into plowshares" (Isaiah 2:4). We, the 8 billion+ souls of humanity, express deep remorse, fully repent, and rise in daily rallies throughout Korea and over 200 countries to affirm we are no longer "sons of vipers" but authentic Children of God—ceasing all conflict, repurposing weapons into tools of advancement starting today, and eradicating sins like extramarital affairs, corruption, theft, and warfare through the True Love Revolution of everyday peace-building deeds. Every human is destined to flourish in this kingdom right now.

We launch an exhilarating global contest for 8 billion people across 200 nations: Which country will pioneer with the largest rallies, warmest presidential receptions, and grandest honors for Her Holiness Holy Mother Han—the spouse of Jesus' Second Coming and God's earthly manifestation? Will Korea lead the way, shedding centuries of strife, division, and torment to enter the Peace Kingdom immediately?

Today's headlines brim with unwavering backing for Holy Mother Han. On November 16, 2025, thousands of Unification Church youth rallied in Seoul against religious persecution, demanding her freedom, organized by FFWPU to highlight the injustice. On November 13, 2025, over 50 global religious leaders convened at Gwanghwamun Plaza for a press conference, championing FFWPU's values and urging an end to the baseless suppression of Holy Mother Han, a lifelong peace advocate. The "Global Interfaith Clergy Peace Assembly Committee for Faith Liberty" proclaimed: "In this scientific era, spiritual essence must prevail. Religious freedom anchors society." Representatives from Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Donghak, and Confucianism—including U.S. Pastor Thomas Barrett, Archbishop Chrysostomos Selly, and Korean Pastor Seo Jin Woo—pledged to combat tyranny and mobilize globally.

A broad alliance—from media outlets, citizens, celebrities, politicians, families, organizations, leaders, presidents, billionaires, pastors, prophets, imams, monks, rabbis, bishops, apostles, scientists, archbishops, cardinals, and the Pope—demands her swift liberation, forgiveness, and divine support. They emphasize her worsening health truths and insist on revelation: this 82-year-old great-grandmother suffers illegal detention on fabricated allegations post-heart surgery, surviving on painkillers in evident frailty. Korean media like Yonhap, Chosun Ilbo, and JoongAng Daily expose prosecutorial biases and democratic backsliding; global sources including Reuters, AP, The Washington Times, and Bitter Winter deem it religious repression. The #ReleaseTheMotherOfPeace campaign surpasses 50 million interactions on X and social media, inspiring vigils in Seoul, New York, Tokyo, London, Islamabad, and beyond. Key endorsers include U.S. President Donald Trump's directive: "Free the Mother of Peace NOW!"—leveraging U.S. influence; former Secretary Mike Pompeo labels it "judicial warfare eroding democracy"; Newt Gingrich warns of a "strike against faith freedoms." North Korea analyst Dr. Alexandre Mansourov proposes Kim Jong-un's mediation. Multifaith allies: AMMWEC's Muslim women condemn her imprisonment; Detroit coalitions and African Prophet Imboni Samuel Radebe (2025 Sunhak Peace Prize laureate) praise her as "humanity's unifier." Pastor Mark Burns spearheads prayers with over 300 Korean clergy at the detention center, invoking Constitution Article 20. Thousands of Koreans and internationals maintain round-the-clock prayers at the center, with hundreds of thousands participating worldwide in nearly every nation. Celebrities, magnates, and influencers amplify via Happy TV News and digital platforms.

Over six decades, Holy Mother Han's trailblazing initiatives have unveiled truths and propelled worldwide advancement. Co-founding FFWPU in 1954 amid Korea's postwar devastation, she initiated: the 1962 Little Angels Children's Folk Ballet, captivating audiences in 60+ countries and earning UN recognition for cultural diplomacy; the 1992 Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP), advancing women's roles and alleviating poverty for millions in 150+ nations; the 1994 Sun Moon University, cultivating over 20,000 peace leaders; and billions in aid for pandemics, tsunamis, earthquakes, and famines. Her ecological efforts restored millions of acres of forests globally, while youth programs empowered over 1 million young visionaries. Via the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), she enabled breakthroughs like the 1991 summit with North Korea's Kim Il-sung for reunification, interfaith mass weddings fostering cross-cultural ties, and Tongil Group's industrial growth creating jobs and boosting exports to fortify economies. In the 1970s, her Yeouido anti-communism rallies drew 1.2 million, aiding Cold War resolutions through CAUSA and IFVOC. FFWPU's vital contributions elevated Korea from a $1.5 billion GDP in 1960 to $1.7 trillion in 2025, bolstering titans like Samsung and Hyundai, as noted in Monthly Chosun and Yonhap.

From 1960 onward, Holy Mother Han has illuminated millions of young minds through Divine Principles workshops in Korea and internationally, touring yearly to uplift women and families in urban hubs like Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Ulsan, Jeju, and rural regions in Gangwon and Jeolla, while inspiring students at institutions such as Sun Moon, Yonsei, KAIST, and POSTECH with values of integrity, accountability, and creativity. Thousands of leaders, including presidents, have gained from her interfaith peace conferences since 1960. As FFWPU's visionary helm, she drives global interreligious endeavors, from UPF summits attracting millions for Korean unity to addresses at the UN and parliaments promoting harmony. Over her lifetime, she has engaged and inspired over 350 heads of state from 157 countries toward peace, including Cambodia's Hun Sen on regional stability, North Korea's Kim Il-sung on peninsula dialogue, Soviet Union's Mikhail Gorbachev on ending the Cold War, and U.S.'s Donald Trump on faith-driven engagement. Her China peace tours stressed "God as Peace's Origin," advancing True Love and unity; while official reactions were measured, state-affiliated media like South China Morning Post in 2025 lauded her intercultural contributions as enhancing Asian multifaith balance.

Despite her complete cooperation with inquiries, Holy Mother Han was harshly imprisoned without justification or rationale, even post-surgeries—embodying selfless dedication to God and boundless compassion for Korea and humanity, a mission transcending President Lee Jae-myung's misguided actions. The world—from ordinary people to presidents—must unite to free the Mother of Peace, demonstrating our common humanity and divine heritage, abandoning war-ravaged depths. A heaven-guided epoch dawns: Holy Mother Han channels daily celestial wisdom, perfecting the Peace Kingdom of universal True Love families this year and eternally, averting future shame in our linked world—opting for instant unity over perpetual discord.

Holy Mother Han radiates devotion to God even in confinement, shining amid President Lee's trials; visiting clergy from Korea and abroad marvel at her luminous divine aura. She yearns for her family, children, and grandchildren, yet her heart mirrors God's, redeeming every soul—even her accusers.

Korean pastors and leaders from diverse churches pray for religious liberty at the detention center, with thousands of Koreans and visitors upholding vigilant prayers where the blameless Holy Mother Han endures wrongful captivity. Globally, hundreds of thousands pray in almost every country.

President Lee Jae-myung: Why perpetuate this tormenting persecution of Holy Mother Han when her release would liberate you, the Korean populace, and the Mother of Peace? Your agenda of justice, anti-corruption, welfare, gender equality, North Korean respect, and elder safeguards clashes with this scandal. Having endured unfounded accusations without detention yourself, cease the double standards. Her freedom aligns with your vision, averts divine, economic, and diplomatic repercussions, heals divides, bolsters U.S.-Korea relations ($150B+ trade), and cements your legacy as a guardian of the vulnerable. Repent and release her now.

This infringement violates South Korea's Constitution and laws: Article 20(1) ensures religious freedom, breached by targeted attacks; Article 20(2) requires religion-state separation, flouted in prejudiced investigations; Article 11(1) prohibits discrimination, ignored; Article 12(1) bans arbitrary arrests (Criminal Procedure Act Article 70); Article 12(3) demands evidence-based warrants (Articles 84, 200-2), circumvented; Article 34(5) advances elder welfare, disregarded; Article 36(3) safeguards health, compromised by insufficient care. Further protections: Framework Act on Human Rights Policy Article 4 (anti-discrimination); Prosecutors' Office Act Article 4 (impartiality); Welfare of Senior Citizens Act Articles 2(4), 39-2 (anti-abuse); Long-Term Care Insurance Act Article 2 (elder support); Public Health and Medical Services Act Article 2 (health access). Pretrial detention is limited to flight or tampering risks (Criminal Procedure Act Article 95), inapplicable to an 82-year-old deeply rooted in Korea. Probes reveal contrived allegations, vendettas, and FFWPU's crucial anti-communism, economic, and unification roles. Despite her critical post-hospital state, she was reincarcerated on November 7 after the prison vaccine heightened her pain and sleeplessness.

OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

An Open Letter to the President of Korea (By Ram Auerbach, Jewish Board of Deputies, Zambia) A Message from Zambia (Africa), from Jerusalem, and to the African Union, the United Nations, and the European Union Requesting the Immediate Release of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon (“Mama Moon”), a Global Mother of Peace

To: His Excellency President Lee Jae-myung, Republic of Korea The Chairperson of the African Union Commission The Secretary-General of the United Nations The President of the European Commission

Your Excellency,

From Zambia in Africa, the continent of human origin and unity; and from Jerusalem, the eternal capital of moral conscience and peace—I send this letter with deep respect and profound concern regarding the detention of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, known globally as “Mama Moon,” the Mother Teresa of the East.

Dr. Moon has dedicated her entire life to peace, reconciliation, and interfaith unity. She has never encouraged violence, hatred, or division. She brought Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, and all traditions to the same table. She uplifted nations, strengthened families, empowered women, and built bridges across borders. To millions across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, she is a mother to humanity.

It is difficult to comprehend how a nation admired as a model of democracy—a nation shaped by the wisdom of King Sejong the Great, father of the Korean written language and a global symbol of enlightened leadership—could detain a woman whose mission so clearly embodies compassion, unity, and peace.

Korea, a nation rooted in learning, morality, and deep cultural heritage, stands today at a crossroads of history.

Jerusalem teaches us about the pain of a misunderstood righteous person. More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus—a Jewish teacher of love—was condemned not for violence, but because of political fear and misinterpretation. Humanity has paid the price for that moment for more than 2,025 years. We must not repeat a tragedy born of misunderstanding toward a peaceful soul.

Africa teaches us that no nation is honored by imprisoning a peacemaker. Every nation is honored when it protects one.

Dr. Moon is not Jesus, and she is not King Sejong—but she stands in the same moral lineage of leaders who uplift humanity, not divide it. She is a mother of peace, a builder of reconciliation, a guiding light for millions.

Therefore, with respect and friendship toward Korea, and in the presence of the African Union, the European Union, and the United Nations:

We formally request the immediate release of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.

Her release will restore global confidence in Korea’s moral leadership. Her release will reaffirm Korea’s commitment to justice, compassion, and human dignity. Her release will show the world that Korea stands with peace, not with fear.

A woman who never raised her hand in violence must not be behind bars. A mother who united continents must not be treated as a threat. A leader who lived for peace must not suffer because of misunderstanding.

From Jerusalem we say: Do not repeat the mistakes of history. From Africa we say: Do not silence a mother of peace. From humanity we say: Stand on the side of compassion. From the world we say: Free Mama Moon.

With the highest respect for Korea and for all nations addressed in this letter,

Ram Auerbach Ambassador, Peace Assembly – Zambia Chairman, Jewish Board of Deputies (Zambia) Chairman, Albinism Multipurpose (AMOZ) Jewish Board of Deputies (Zambia) Registered Community Organization Date: 23 November 2025

🇰🇷 An open letter to the President of Korea A message from Zambia (Africa) and Jerusalem, and to the African Union, European Union, and the UN Mother Teresa of the East demands immediate release of "Mama Moon" Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
